high school sports

Brandon, John and KJ came down a few weeks ago so I got the opportunity to shoot some skate stuff for the next issue of the Pillage. One thing about skateboarding is that you are basically always looking for some sort of obstruction to conquer thats what street skating is all about moving through obstructions. With these photos I wanted something to obstruct the the focal point without taking away from the overall composition so that it would reflect that desire to conquer obstructions.

working on this idea of using impressionistic styles into landscapes using digital pinholes and non traditional focusing methods to create images that jump start the memories of the viewer. I want the images to remind people of an long lost event or memory.
